our little four legged critters will be leaving soon. Thursday is their date with destiny. They will move to a farm in Finley and have to learn to get along with their new herd.
We will miss the melodious sounds of their bleating....in the vain attempt to convince us that they are surely about to die from starvation.
They are growing on the neighbors too.... they have brought over their grandkids to help feed the baby goats.... and the retired veterinarian.... has been seen scratching ears and noses through the fence, all the while wearing a goofy boyish grin.
Hunter leads them from their pen in the garage to the pasture in the morning, calling himself the Pied Piper of goats... he rides his scooter, and bleats at them to get them to follow.... it is absolutely the cutest thing you have ever seen.
Probably good that they are going.... they are starting to drink more milk than the 4 two legged kids that live here ...
