Now, if you are my mother... you will read the title for this post and think, "Yes, that girl is certainly gabby!"
Ever since I could breathe, I was talking. I talked so much on a family vacation when I was two, our horseback riding guide actually asked my mom if I EVER SHUT UP??!! She laughed and told him, "No."
I used to stand in our yard, we lived on a corner, and sing and talk to the people as they came home from work....
Nope, I am never low on words.....
So, naturally, it is a great fit for me to be chosen as a 'Gabby Mom' for TEACH Magazine. TEACH Magazine is dedicated to encouraging and challenging moms to be women of God. To love and help their husbands, teach and train their children, and not be so busy that home is their last priority.
I am looking forward to the articles, MP3's, Books, and whatever comes my way to review. Hopefully over the next year, we will be encouraged together by Biblical Truths.
.............One more thing.......... I can't let this go...... They have a motto for a Gabby Mom.... We Gab, We Giggle, and We Glitter. ...........Ok... I was with you till the Glitter part. That just congers up images of pink tutu's, sequence and tiaras..... That is definitely NOT me. I am more of a forge through, haul firewood, dig in the garden kind of gal......
It's ok though, I do have one piece of glitter.... it resides squarely on the third finger of my left hand!

That's AWESOME! What an honor! And, man, could I have used something like this when my kids were young....work, life, ball games got way up top of the priority list, and for that, I do have many regrets.
